There is a rumor on the net,
which, if true, would be absolutely brilliant! It has been said that on completion of the game (A certain score or parameters may have to be accomplished first), the original House of the Dead will become available to play! It will be an enhanced version, too, with visuals on a par with it's big brother sequel! Please let this be true, Sega!! |

Tuesday, July 27, 1999 at 09:05:21 I have been playing House of THe Dead 2 for a while now. I have come up with some good news for extra lives hints. Hints to stay alive in the game is to:- 1. Rescue 5 or more hostages to get extra lives. 2. In Level 2, before you go out of the boat, there is a box that has a extra life hidden in it. (before you go up the ladder) 3. In Level 3 - when you rescue the hostage from the zombie, hit the middle red box where the cage is - this is an extra life hidden in that box. But be quick before you move on. 4. In Level 5 - (before you fight the Tower) you will see a box next to the lift before you go in, shoot it to reveal an extra life. 5. Finally, my advise is to shoot the zombie's head as it is their weak spot and destroys them quickly AND you score MORE points. Sunday, June 20, 1999 at 05:27:47 Having only played this game at the arcades I found it one of the best graphically astounding games I have ever seen. Everything about it was so quick and realistic it made my appetite hungry for more. I am now about to sell my N64 and loads of games to buy a Dreamcast. I may wait quite a bit to buy the European one though because I want to be able to read my games. Anyway, HOFTD2 is an amazing game. It will keep you on tenterhooks all of the time. Beware, always be alert to sudden attacks or the gun may take a battering as you suddenly realize you need to change your underpants. It has the same affect as resident evil 1/2 on the playstation. Only this time the graphics are so much better. The people move without dodgy controls and it is now from an amazing 1st person view. The light gun is the icing on the cake. It does what goldeneye should have had as an option. If every DC game is as good as this then we are in for a treat. 93%. Truly amazing, and so original. |

i was so happy it was coming out for the dreamcast i remember the first time i played house of the dead 1 i almost crap in my pants because it was so cool. who ever buys the dreamcast also buy house of the dead 2 for dreamcast its the sh** |

The reason for the good graphics is because the dc model 3 arcade board chip because of this nice chip expect to have allot of arcade games on the dreamcast for some of you that would be good but for some it would be bad first of all what i first noticed about this game is that it has allot of gore.for me thats good so if you like gore get this game.and it also comes with the light gun!when you play this game which the gun is when you shoot is that a light flashes allot .that bugged me allot .and the game is is also good to play with the controller also for me the controller was better the story line was great it gets you in the mood like your in the game.and the sound was great .like when the zombies moan that was a trip but the only downfalls in this game is the voice acting and the color of the blood.first their is no red blood that kind of mad me mad but i guess dead things don't have blood .instead its green ooze.but no big disappointment .and second is the voices .god they sucked!like for example help me please!it sounded like they were reading is from a book and allot of other voices sucked.and the game has a training mode to. grafics...10 sound....7 difficulty.....8 fun factor........10...reply value.....9so be shure to check this game out if your a hard-core fan of this title..but if your not at least rent it |
