LOS ANGELES - May 13, 1999 - Capcom today announced Resident Evil 3 Nemesis,
the highly anticipated next chapter to its multi-million dollar Resident
Evil franchise. It is the third in a series that has sold more than 9 million
units. In Resident Evil 3 Nemesis, players see the return of Jill Valentine,
heroine and amazing survivor of the nightmare that began in the original
Resident Evil. Resident Evil 3 Nemesis is a unique action adventure that
intricately reveals more of Umbrella Company's nightmarish plot and picks
up just hours before the events in Resident Evil 2. Resident Evil 3 is
being developed by Mr. Shinji Mikami, Capcom's executive producer and creator
of the Resident Evil series. Resident Evil 3 Nemesis is scheduled to release
this November for the PlayStation® game console.

The graphics, as well as the story line are great! Such little additions added on like the Quick turn are cool too. The boxes and saving points are okay, but i don't understand the real big problem of it that many others think. The mutiple paths (quick decisions) are the best new feature of the game making it replayable. The mercinary mode is good too, but i think they could of added more people to pick from in the mercinary mode, such as Jill. Overall, (out of a score of 1-10, 10 being the best) i would definetly give this game a 9.5, and thats my review on Resident Evil 3 Nemisis. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

What I think I liked best was that it potrayed the Umbrella angets9 Carlos, Mikhail etc.) as normal people and, deep down, they were actually good guys. Well..except Nickleye(I can't spell his name, who was one evil bastard. Another good thing is we see more of Raccoon City than a few measelt streets, a sewer, and a police station..and what's even better..more types of zombies!! Spekaing of which, I doubt anyone's done this before but I guess I'll list the types of zombies found in games 1 and 2. Resident Evil zombies
Guards - Purple zombies in green uniforms. This is the kind first found chomping on Kenneth. Poor guy. "Naked" Zombies - Yes..they're naked. Most likely because they're found in the morgue in the lab.. Forest Speyer - He becomes a zombie..and looks exactly the way he did as a human, except..more rotted. Resident Evil 2 zombies.
Citizen A - Zombies in yellow shirts and green pants, and brown hair. Some versions have torn shirts and yellow hair as well. Citizen B - Zombies in blue pants and black shirts with some kind of writing on the back. Female - Ahhh..girl zombies, the rarest ones. They all, sadly, look alike, with haltertops and short-shorts. Lab Worker - Found only in
a certain room in the underground lab, these guys are realy rotted and
sport white coveralls
Mutilated Zombie - Basicaly..this type has it's stomach torn open and guts hanging out and wears part of a shirt. Marvin Zombie - Poor Marvin turns into a zombie..and ya gotta blast him. Oddly he's the only African-American zombie.. Brad Zombie - I'v enever
seen this one but I know it exists. it's Brad Vickers after Nemesis has
offed him and
RE2 also includes the re-appearance
of the "scientist" and "naked" zombies..but not the "guard" zombies..oh
well. RE3 has so

There are different ways that the story can go. I finished the game finally in 13 hours and 34 minutes. I thought it was awesome when they blew up the entire city. The nemesis was a very hard person to beat. The game would give me the chills sometimes depending on what was happening. When you play a game with a 5 foot screen in the dark with a stereo surround sound, you are practically right there in the game. You can get very jumpy even with the slightest noise. However there are certain points of the game I could not figure out. I could of never finished the game if it was not for the guide book of the game. Hope fully I see a music disc of the game. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- I've completed the game Resident Evil 3 Nemesis, it's the best game out I think. A tip is that if you collect every single file on the game you get Chris's diary, this isn't the easiest to find but it's worth trying! Another is that on The Mercenaries game you can save people if you go out of you way to find them. One of these is Brad Vickers (he's found in the kitchen (basement). Also if you go all the way back to the Warehouse (in the normal game not Mercenaries) then you see the fat bloke (Dario) getting eaten by zombies! In the hut he hid in are gun powder A and Gun powder BX2. Doing this also allows you to get his diary (also in the hut) which also helps if you're trying to get Chris's diary. First get the lighter and lighter fluid, open the door with the rope. Then you can put the lighter in storage untill you get into the graveyard. I would like any info on the blank spot in the clock tower. Its behind the wall closest to the stairs and next to the door. My mouth starts to salvate the moment I hear the name ResidentEvil, I own all of the ResidentEvil's plus every Megaman game ever made. I love the games produced by Capcom so much I even bought a dreamcast for the soul purpose of getting the ResidentEvil game for it. People you must by ResidentEvil Nemesis! This game is really outstanding, the game play is amazing with new enemies that will send shivers down your spine. Every minute you are wondering when Nemesis will pop out and try to make you a corpse. Being able to make your own ammo is also a nice plus as is the ability to dodge. The additional Mercinary mode is also very fun to play. For an experienced ResidentEvil player this game was a breeze even on the hard mode because I know how to conserve ammo; this is a skill that must be obtained if you want to survive the hard mode.*Hint* don't go waste all your ammo on Nemesis! You don't have to kill him every time. Or just run by zombies. The only thing I could complain about is you only get to play as carlos for a brief period of time. In my opinion it should have been two discs like ResidentEvil 2. To all the hard working people at Capcom, keep up the good work and keep on pumping those ResidentEvil games!! I know I wouldn't mind 10 more chapters added to the residentevil sagga. To all those gamers who need help with the game I'm your man feel free to send me mail. It would be my pleasure to assist you. Just don't use Strategy guides!!!!!!!!! What fun is that!! To get the best ending where you get to blow Nicoli out of the sky, jump off the bridge where you run into Nemesis!!!!!! Oh and machine gun works b est on hunters it prevents them from leaping at you. Acid rounds work best on Grave Diggers, and please do not waste three bottles of C gun powder for magnum bullets complete waste!!!!!!!! Nemesis is always popping up to get on my nerves. I find it better to kill him and get it over with than to have him chase me all over the place. I have gotten Jill's epilogue and I'm making it one of my life goals to get all 8(I just have to find out what happened to Leon. I love that guy). Anyway this game is all that and I love playing it. I'm like addicted to it. I bet Capcom put those costumes and epilogues in there to make us play the game over and over again to get them all and it has worked for me. What's up with the zombies? All of them move faster. Cool part: being able to use barrels to blow those zombies to pieces and dodging. If it wasn't for this the game would be alot harder. Who does Carlos think he is? All the ladies love his accent puh-LEASE!
